1.5 Hours
1 Hour Strength & Conditioning
30 Minutes Choreography Preparation (taught by Lo)
Build foundational strength, stability, mobility, and body awareness to feel stronger and more confident dancing in heels.
This portion of the intensive begins with guided conditioning led by certified mobility specialist Amanda Graziano, focusing on:
Deep abdominal strength and pelvic stability
Ankle and hip mobility
Spine flexibility
Increase control and power through end ranges of motion
Learning to move more efficiently in heels
Following conditioning, dancers will learn choreography (barefoot) with Lo to prepare for the second half of the intensive.
Perfect for:
Dancers wanting stronger technical foundations
Performers looking to improve confidence, control, and movement quality
Intermediate Level Recommended
1.5 Hours
Take your heels training to the next level through progressive movement drills, across-the-floor exercises, and choreography development.
This class builds directly from the foundations established in the first session. Dancers will revisit and expand on movement concepts while applying them fully in heels.
Training includes:
Foundational heels technique pillars (including weight transfers and balance)
Across-the-floor progressions
Isolation drills
Musicality and energy dynamics
Embodiment and expression
Choreography refinement in heels
Designed for dancers with prior movement or heels experience who are ready to challenge their versatility, technical execution, and performance quality. We revisit the choreography learned barefoot in Part 1, now in heels, to refine, strengthen, and expand the clarity of the movement. Both parts of the intensive will take place at Visceral Dance Center in Studio 3.
